Seeq Team Shamus Cunningham Posted November 29, 2021 Seeq Team Share Posted November 29, 2021 I wanted to put together a quick guide on how to clear the cache for a particular signals inside of Seeq Workbench. Come common reasons for wanting to clear the cache on a signal Data source caching is turned on and you have changed a calculation in your source database You have added prior history to a tag and filled in a gap Steps to Clear the cache Open Item Properties Open Advanced Settings Click "Clear Cached Values"
David Edelman
Is there a set of permissions that a regular user would need to be able to do this for themselves? I just had to help a user clear cache for several signals as the option was greyed out under his account.
Seeq Team John Cox Posted September 11 Seeq Team Share Posted September 11 (edited) Hi David, I believe the user would need "Write" access to the item that cache is being cleared on. The user's current level of access can be checked via "Access Control" under Item Properties. John Edited September 11 by John Cox
David Edelman
Thanks! Our users had defaulted to read only on the particular data source so updating the access control there enabled the feature.
